Denver Comic Con Wrap-up!

Stel Pavlou, the author of Daniel Coldstar: The Relic War, attended the Denver Comic Con last weekend. And what a great time it was!

Firstly, congratulations go out to Delia Hardy of Colorado, who was the lucky winner of our ARC giveaway! The raffle took place at the Tattered Cover Bookstore‘s booth, where Stel announced Delia as the winner. Delia received her personalized signed copy this week and her family is already fighting over who gets to read it first.

We had received many entries from all over the globe. And we thank all those who participated. Your enthusiasm for this upcoming book is overwhelming!

Daniel and Stel were both later introduced to a pretty awesome comic book icon, artist and writer, Frank Cho! Stel has always been a big fan. And Frank was as nice as anyone could be.

Next up was comic book writer, Jeremy Whitley, who both Stel and his daughter, Lorelai, were thrilled to meet. Stel bought Lorelai her first set of comic books from Jeremy, which were based on the My Little Pony series. And she devoured all three of them on the ride home!

Overall, it was a fantastic day of networking, talking to folks about the book and doing a lot of sightseeing of cosplays from some very dedicated Comic Con folks! Stel even had a chance to sit in on some fascinating talks by NASA about future projects that are in the works.

Being British, this was Stel’s first trip to a Comic Con and he’s hooked. Definitely look for more appearances of Stel and Daniel Coldstar at Comicons in the future.
